Portrait colour-negative films were made for one job: skin. Wedding and family photographers loved them because every face looked healthy and warm, in sun, shade or window light.
A digital file rarely does that on its own. Skin goes pink or grey in the shade, greens turn neon and highlights look harsh. Portrait 160 brings back the soft film curve: it warms skin gently without turning it orange, rolls highlights into cream, lifts the shadows a little and pulls greens towards olive.

Do I need a paid Adobe subscription?
No. The mobile presets work in the free Lightroom Mobile app on iPhone and Android. If you edit on a computer, the desktop presets work in Lightroom Classic and Lightroom CC.
How will I get the presets?

Is this a copy of Kodak Portra?
Portrait 160 is our own modern take on the warm look of professional portrait colour-negative films such as Kodak Portra 160 and 400. It is not a scientific film emulation and it is not affiliated with or endorsed by Kodak. Kodak and Portra are trademarks of their owners.
Will it make skin orange?
No. The whole pack is built around natural skin: warmth goes into highlights and midtones gently, and the Natural Skin preset is the most neutral option for very fair or very dark skin.
What kind of photos work best?
People in natural light: sunny afternoons, open shade, window light and golden hour. Families, weddings, couples and portraits. For dark rooms or evening lamps try Tungsten or Pushed 800; for black & white, Mono 160.
Will my photos look exactly like the examples?
Every photo is different (light, colours, exposure), so think of a preset as the starting point. Usually a small tweak of exposure or white balance is all it takes to match the look.
What if the presets don't suit my photos?
Send us an unedited photo and we'll personally adjust the presets for you. And if you're still not happy, you get your money back within 30 days.
